Cultivating relationships through conversation.

How well do we actually know the people in our lives? Their values, cultural perspectives, political views, and outlooks on life. Off The Record develops the best tools to help anyone start and carry conversations that strengthen communication skills.

Our Story

Off The Record was founded in 2023 by advertising creative Kate Terentieva. Before it was a card game, Off The Record was a page in Kate's Notes app, filled with 400+ questions she asked her clients to understand the souls of their brands. After witnessing cathartic conversations and developing deep relationships with her clientele, Kate realized she has a bigger solution on her hands. Since 2023, Off The Record has been the card game of choice for people who take connection seriously, looking to strengthen their communication skills to learn who people actually are.
